Coffin Comics is an independent publishing company, founded in September 2007 by Chaos! Comics founder and Lady Death creator, Brian Pulido. Coffin is dedicated to rock-n-roll inspired, supernatural tales and continues to craft authentically rare, limited edition comic books and assorted items for the discerning collector.

The purpose of this site is to keep fans and collectors up to date on the latest news, product releases, convention appearances and other events related to Coffin Comics and its signature character, Lady Death.

Francisca Pulido has distinguished herself in the creative arts and in business throughout her award-winning career.

Under Francisca’s tutelage as Co-Founder and Vice President of Chaos! Comics, the company rose to become the number one independent comic publisher of the 1990’s, winning twelve international printing awards and three prestigious customer service awards.

Through Pulido Publications, Francisca’s book publishing venture, she was Chief Creative Officer of “Indonesian Cuisine”, a high-end cookbook that is considered the definitive book on the subject. Indonesian Cuisine sold ten thousand copies in twenty four months.


Francisca also owns Pulido Design Studios, which provides high-end interior design services for commercial clients. Recent projects include the complete re-design of Anderson’s Fifth Estate in Scottsdale into Club Forbidden. She’s also an on-camera spokesperson appearing on Fox News and AZTV, among others. She was the host for the TV pilot “Spiritual Spaces”.

Pulido produced, “The Graves”, a feature film distributed by After Dark Films, Lionsgate, SyFy and additional International distributors. In 2011, She teamed with Avatar Press and produced “Stitched”, the directorial debut of Garth Ennis.

Francisca produced the award-winning short film, “There’s Something Out There” and music video “Voices…” for Calabrese, which has been viewed over one point three million times on You Tube. All projects were completed on budget.

Francisca co-founded the annual “Comic Book Legal Defense Fund Art Auction” which raised $200K to fight first amendment right abuses and she created “Healing Creations” for Camp Sunrise and The American Cancer Foundation.




Brian Pulido’s experience ranges from award-winning film producing to comic book publishing, screenwriting and media branding. His eye for talent has introduced dozens of top-tier talent into the world of entertainment.

Pulido was the leading independent comic publisher of the 1990’s, with sales exceeding twenty million dollars and titles translated into a dozen languages. Pulido won twelve international printing awards and oversaw hundreds of licensed items including action figures, statues, trading cards, posters, prints, barware and apparel.

Pulido has created and written hundreds of comic books including Lady Death, and Evil Ernie and licensed comics including A Nightmare on Elm St., Chucky, Friday The 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.


He’s published licensed comics for WWE and movie brands including Universal’s The Mummy and Halloween. He wrote and produced Lady Death, an animated feature from ADV Films that sold over 300K DVDs. His award-winning short film, “There’s Something Out There” has garnered eight festival wins. His music video, Calabrese’s “Voices of The Dead”, has exceeded 1.3 million views on YouTube.

Pulido produced and directed The Graves, a feature film distributed by After Dark Films, Lionsgate, SyFy and additional international distributors. In 2011, He teamed up with Avatar Press and produced Stitched, the directorial debut of Preacher co-creator Garth Ennis.

Pulido is on the board of directors for The Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization that raises funds for comic book veterans in need.

Pulido is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Motion Picture and Television Department.



Mike_Flippin_200x200Mike is the graphic designer for Coffin Comics (2007 – present) and was the senior graphic designer for Chaos! Comics (1991-2002) and has overseen literally thousands of print products and advertising ranging from comic books, packaging and hardcovers.






Nick_Gallegos_02_200x200Nick “Napalm” superbly oversees management of LadyDeathStore.com and is responsible for a majority of Coffin Comics’ daily operations, including customer service, mail order fulfillment, social media and public relations. He is also editor and assets manager of Mischief Maker Studios, Pulido’s media production company.
